I grew up in norcal, went to Berkeley for computer science (go bears!), and now reside in Los Angeles, California.

I love design but at heart, I am an engineer. I love writing code, reading code, and designing systems.

It’s been about 3 years of professional software engineering, and my favorite days are the days I can just sit down and program.

I think it took me a while to figure that out: I had bounced around thinking I wanted to be a founder, or a PM, or a product designer, but the truth is engineering makes me very happy. (Thank you authors of Designing Your Life).

Professional personality wise I strive to be an engineer that other people like working with. I value collaboration, clear communication, and strive to avoid over-engineering things.
